Chi Square Distribution

Chi Square statistics (X2) are utilized with Chi Square distributions to determine p-values.

The X2 distribution is not normal (a.k.a. bell-curved shape).

Rather, it's skewed right (a.k.a. it's peak is towards the left, and as we move right it diminishes).

Degrees of freedom are utilized to determine the shape of our Chi Square distribution. The more degrees of freedom we have, the less right-skewed our Chi Square distribution becomes!
