Holes are points on a function where no value exists, but the function still exists and continues directly to the left and right of the point.

They're kinda like potholes. The road still exists, and you're able to follow its path, but technically speaking the road "doesn't exist" at the pothole point.

Scenario: Sketch a graph of the function y = f(x) where f(x) has a hole at x = 3.
